Psalm 4:3 “The Lord has set apart the Godly for Himself.”
Our second conviction which produces confidence is simply: God has positioned me for good success.
There is something powerful in knowing that we have been appointed to a position of strength and good success. You must know you have been set apart by God to fulfil His purposes and extend His Kingdom. When you honestly believe that God has raised you up together with Christ, to sit in an exalted position of authority and dominion, you have a confidence that cannot be shaken. To believe that all things in life have been placed “under” your position, gives you an ability to see life from a different vantage point. You are above and not beneath.
God has positioned you for good success and nothing or no-one can change that. Confidence comes from believing the right convictions, and to be convinced that you will always win and overcome in life releases tremendous confidence. It is quite simple really. If I am positioned with Christ in heavenly places, and I am seated in the position of royalty, then I must believe that I am able to win in all and every situation beneath me. I have a confidence that:
Nothing can separate me from the love of God. Nothing can dislodge me from my seat in heavenly places. Nothing can rule over me from beneath me. Nothing has power to destroy me when Christ has conquered all other power. Nothing can destroy my confidence in Christ and I know that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens and empowers me.
That’s confidence with a capital C.
