DAY THIRTY SEVEN | BOASTING IN YOUR ABILITY

2 CORINTHIANS 10 : 13 – “We, however, will not boast beyond measure, but within the limits of the sphere which God appointed us.”

The Apostle Paul shows us a very valuable lesson. We are not to boast in our own abilities, but we are definitely called to boast in the Lord. We are to declare His calling for our lives, and to confess His promises to us. We are to establish His authority in a region by declaring His purposes for us in that sphere.

If I am, for example, to plant a church for God in a given region, then I am bestowed with the authority to bring it to pass, and must then establish that authority by declaring my intention and God’s will, to do just that. As I declare my authority to build a church, the gates of hell in that region, try to hinder and oppose my actions.

However as it is God’s will, I have the authority to bring it to pass. My role is to continue in faith declaring and boasting in the authority of the Lord. Know what God has appointed you to do, right where you are, and keep confessing His will until you see things change. Your authority is the key to your victory.

Do not confess weakness and failure, but rather boast in Christ and His great plan for your life. Do not allow natural or physical limitations to throw you off course. Stay committed to seeing the victory happen in your sphere of influence.

REMEMBER: You influence is far stronger than the influence of evil. Light always dispels darkness. Stay shining and declaring God’s plan for you and yours. Do not give up. Authority is an increasing thing and the more you confess and declare God’s purposes, the more you will gain the ascendant position.

Take time today to revisit some of the promises God has given to you. Maybe for your loved ones, or physical healing, or whatever! Have you allowed the enemy to have the authority in that area, if so begin again to boast in the Lord and establish His authority in your sphere of influence.

You have been given all authority to do all God’s will, in all your areas of influence.
