WELCOME TO DAY TWENTY NINE | SUPER WEAPONS FOR REIGNING IN LIFE

2 CORINTHIANS. 10:4 – For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds,

We have been assured of victory in life. Our weapons are far superior to anything else that exists. We are not created to win in life with natural or carnal weapons.

We have been given supernatural and spiritual weapons for winning in life. Our weapons are mighty in God, or through God. God is the source of our strength and our victory. Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law. This curse relegated us to fight for our existence on equal terms with the rest of creation. But Christ has raised us up into heavenly places so that we might rule and reign with Him, and use weapons that are from a different realm, to give us authority in this created realm.

It is God’s way of giving us our rightful authority as Kings and Priests unto God on planet earth.

There are three powerful spiritual weapons we can use daily.

PRAYER
Prayer is the exercise of our spiritual beings to connect us with God. It is the way we rule over our inner world and keep it in right order. Prayer is more about what it does inside us, than with anything that happens around us. Prayer is essentially communion with God so that His rule of authority happens within us.

PRAISE
Using our mouths to declare the wonder and majesty of God in all situations! In everything give Him thanks for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. Train your mouth to habitually give God more praise. This will keep the “heavenlies”, or the unseen spiritual world around you, in right order. It establishes God’s throne of authority over your life in the spiritual realm.

PROPHECY
Prophecy is the declaring of the will of God, known inside us, to our outside world. Prophecy is the way you walk and talk and rule over your physical realm. God told Ezekiel to prophesy or command his physical world to respond to his inner world – where God’s promises dwell.

In all three expressions of warfare we must understand that the word of the Lord is the foundation of all we do and say. It is according to His word that we praise, pray and prophecy effectively. Try it! Fill your mouth with the word of the Lord and you will fill your world with righteousness, peace and joy.

PRACTICAL

1. Plan to build into your diary a daily prayer habit.

2. Practice giving praise to God throughout the day.

3. Practice talking to your world using God’s word. Confess His promises over all you do and believe to see them come to pass.
