WELCOME TO DAY TWELVE | FOUR PARTS TO WINNING

PROVERBS 30 : 29 & 30 – There are three things which are majestic in pace, yes, four which are stately in walk: A lion, which is mighty among beasts and does not turn away from any; a greyhound, a male goat also, and a king whose troops are with him.

In our 70 days to Excel we are wanting to refocus and refine our lives to be more successful in the things God has called us to be and do for Him.

There are four key elements to a successful life as shown in these scriptures.

BOLDNESS // a lion who does not turn away
SWIFTNESS // a greyhound who is swift to run
STUBBORNNESS // a male goat who yields no quarter
TOGETHERNESS // a kings army together in unity

These four simple qualities if consistently adhered to, will give any person or organisation a winning edge.

Build these into your own life before trying to teach them to your family or team.

Be a lion – bold and decisive in pursuing the plans God has given to you.

Do not turn away from them for anyone or anything.

Remember leaders should know what they are pursuing and be committed to not only the chase but the catch as well.

Be a greyhound – swift to run. Be an early adopter. Be quick to check out new opportunities.

Be quick to fulfil your promises. Be quick to rise up to a new challenge. Be quick to employ the disciplines that empower you to be successful.

Then be as stubborn as an old goat. Don’t let anyone co-erce you out of what is yours.

Too often we allow bullies to rob us of our inheritance. Often such bullies are people close to us.

Get some stubbornness about what you want in life. Learn to say no more often.

You cant say yes to what you want – until you say no to what you don’t want first.

Be a Unifier – Bring people and projects together. Learn to include others into your world.

Then work hard at keeping a spirit of togetherness in the place.

The power of unity can enable small groups of likeminded people to outperform huge corporations.

Make sure you take time today to work into your life these four parts to winning.

a. BOLDNESS – In what areas do you need to show more boldness?

b. SWIFTNESS – In what areas do you need to make up your mind and commit to a clear decision to go forward?

c. STUBBORNNESS – In what areas do you need to hold your nerve and your stance and stay true to what you believe?

d. TOGETHERNESS – In what areas do you need to apply reconciliation and forgiveness?
