DAY SIX | Largeness of Heart

WELCOME TO DAY SIX | LARGENESS OF HEART

1 Kings 4: 29 – And God gave Solomon wisdom and exceeding great understanding, and largeness of heart like the sand on the seashore.

We are continuing to look at why “largeness of heart” is good for you.

To experience “largeness” of heart, means the following:

1. To unshackle // Set free to dream beyond the present
2. To free from restriction // To remove the boundaries
3. To enthuse // To pump up with promise
4. To bring to wholeness // To reach full potential
5. To excel // To overflow in a good thing

There is no doubt in my mind that people with “largeness of heart” will always outperform mean spirited and small-minded individuals.

They see life from a different perspective and live life from a different motivation.

They are creators of good things; not consumers of everything.

Largeness of heart will never hurt you, but a shrivelled spirit will relegate you to being a consumer the rest of your days.

Three things will plague you for life if you live as a consumer.

1. YOU WILL NEVER HAVE ENOUGH.
2. SOMEONE ELSE WILL ALWAYS HAVE MORE THAN YOU.
3. WHAT YOU DO HAVE WILL NEVER SATISFY YOU.

It makes sense to live with an enlarged heart. Excellent, unrestricted, enthusiastic people always get the best out of life. It is the way God intended it to be.

In this EXCEL70 season make it your intent to acquire from God largeness of heart. He gives it to us when we meditate on His promises and believe them by faith.

God made us to live with “largeness of heart” which is how we go beyond reason – to believe in the amazing plan He has for our lives.

Go on – Let God enlarge your heart and believe that anything is possible in Him.

PRACTICAL

1. Write a list of things you do not presently have enough of – to fulfill your immediate dreams.

2. Now thank God – that He has more than enough of the things you need.

3. Now sow some of what you need into others. You cannot reap more – if you do not sow.

4. If you are not tithing a tenth of your income into a local church – then immediately start.

5. Pray and ask God daily for largeness of heart – which is a generous spirit.
