DAY FOUR | Largeness of heart

WELCOME TO DAY FOUR | LARGENESS OF HEART

1 Kings 4 : 29 -And God gave Solomon wisdom and exceeding great understanding, and largeness of heart like the sand on the seashore.

Largeness of heart comes from being a wise person.

Wisdom always directs a person towards largeness and generosity.

The fool is directed toward selfishness and self-preservation.

Largeness of heart can be seen in the following ways.

1. People who live in a big world.
2. People who enjoy varied interests
3. People who accommodate differing points of view
4. People who put their eggs in more than one basket
5. People who have many good friends
6. People who have a large developed vocabulary
7. People who live by convictions not circumstance.
8. People with a large heart; or bigness of spirit are able to do the following three things well.

1. FORGIVE // They forgive because wise people know they have been forgiven.

2. FELLOWSHIP // They have the desire and ability to enjoy the company of others.

3. FULNESS // They love life and want to live it to the full.

Be a person who lives with largeness of heart and you will live in the blessing of God.

Come on – it is now day four of our EXCEL70 season so ask God to enlarge your heart in all areas of life.

PRACTICAL

1. Before going any further – ask God to reveal any people who you might have to forgive and put things right.

2. Next identify people who are your friends – who have a positive influence in your life. Make a list and invite them to assist you on your journey to excel.

3. Now write the names of three people in your world who live a larger life than you, and make a time to catch up with them. Make sure you take a list of questions to ask when you go. Questions about how to increase the size of your world.

4. Commit to learning a new word every week and use it regularly in your communications.
