In May of 2009 I was having dinner with Brian Houston of Hillsong Church and talking about preparing for a new season, when he challenged me to set aside 70 days to excel in areas of my life. We both felt it was a God moment and jumped at it, deciding to hold each other accountable for the next 70 days. In 2009 this ended on the Friday night of Hillsong Conference.

On the next Sunday we shared it in our churches and the take-up response was amazing. So many people had been sensing God leading them to prepare for a new season in their lives. I personally believe that the world is ready for a new wave of radical Christianity. The world is tottering on the brink of chaos and the church is poised to take up new positions of influence and authority world wide. Anyway back to the 70 days to excel.

I decided to post an Excel70 website and the buy-in last year was amazing.

We have kept the website alive as people have started their own 70 days to excel at various times throughout the year.

We are however again looking forward to our annual 70 days to excel for this year – which will start at the beginning of May and end at the conclusion of Hillsong Conference in Sydney Australia. The ten weeks starting Saturday first of May 2010 concludes on Saturday 10th July 2010.

I believe this is a great way to prepare our lives for greater significance and to get ready for another amazing Hillsong Conference.

If you cant make it to Hillsong Conference then still do the journey with us – and lets encourage one another to excel in new ways for the Kingdom of God.
